Water is Money

If you use water, whether at home or at work or even on holiday it's a fact that someone has to pay for it.

If you run a business where you have toilets it's you that's paying for it, you can save money by some very simple means.

Firstly, in the gents and the ladies you can change all your turn or lever taps which are pumping out far too much water or just being left on, to push taps were the amount of water is not so much restricted as regulated.

Secondly, in the gents toilet the urinals are were the most water is wasted as usually they are just flushing 24/7, if yours are, you need to save water by fitting a urinal flush control.

The waste of water in men's urinals has become such a major environmental and financial issue that it is now a legal requirement to fit a save water device which ensures urinals only flush after use.

Over 80% of urinals in Britain have no form of urinal flush control failing to comply with Water Bylaws. They flush day and night whether in use or not, wasting hundreds of pounds worth of water every year.

Passive Infra Red units save water with an efficiency that old fashioned, Cistemiser pressure valves just cannot match.

Battery powered, utilising passive infra-red (PIR) technology to control a solenoid latching valve. Whenever someone uses the urinal, the PIR triggers a single flush, either instantly, or after a 10 or 20 minute delay. Thereafter, the unit closes the valve and waits for the next user. If unused for 12 or 24 hours the cistern is flushed once to maintain hygiene standards.

So if your toilets are like the ones in this diagram i.e. without a flush control - not only are they illegal, you are literally pouring money and water down the drain!
